Real sorry guys for not updating anything for 2 weeks almost, I think.
Let's just say that my day job has been quite busy up until this point, and I didn't have much energy to do anything besides sleeping ) :

Anyway here we have Kazu's reference sheet.

Kazu is definitely an interesting character, to bad we didn't get to see more of him ( instead we got Ryo, hoozaa, totally being sarcastic here if that wasn't clear yet )
For one he is pretty good friends with Takato and Kenta ( Jeri as well by extension since they are classmates, especially after they all found out that Digimon are real )
He is also pretty brave and courageous, this shows especially in the Guardromon episode but also the episode where he and Guardromon protected Gallantmon from Beelzemon when he was attacking them, he also tried to pull Jeri to safety after Leomon got killed ( Meanwhile we have Henry who did absolutely nothing during the entire fight )
He is also pretty good at the card game, his only drawback is probably that he doesn't have the best cards and that is why Rika would still win a match against him ( wouldn't mind him becoming the next Digimon king to be honest haha )
In the Japanese version he was also looking up to Rika as one of the best players at the card game, he even proposed to teach Jeri so that she could become the next Digimon queen ( the English version made him more cocky with him saying that a girl couldn't possibly be better at the game than him )

And even if he wasn't a Tamer at the time he was the one that drew a blue card for Takato so that he could use it for Growlmon to further Digivolve into Wargrowlmon.
Not even Takato with his endless " Imagination " would think that would work, while Kazu did.

At the very least we should have gotten a Digivolution sequence for Guardromon becoming Andromon again, such a shame really as Kazu really was in my opinion more than just a background comic relief character, oh well we can't have everything in life I guess.

I'll probably will have much more to say about him during the episode reviews, speaking of which I'll be posting them again shortly ( I have already made the title cards for up to episode 9, I just have to get to watching and reviewing them, but don't worry they'll be coming for sure )

Also also, I'm starting to get better at the coloring and shading of the characters, still looks a little wonky, but without complete references it looks pretty damn good to me ^-^

Believe it or not, this was the easy part, adjusting an Impmon 3D model, exporting and unfolding it in Pepakura and connecting all the pieces that was a total of 47 pages of A4 paper. Next will be making the skeleton inside the model so that all the individual parts can move independently like with a plastic action figure model ( like the amplified Digimon model kits for example ) His bandana and gloves will be made out of red felt, and the paper model will be painted and then sprayed with a sealant to protect it so that it can be as durable as possible. I've always liked the Tamers opening sequence, and I wanted to give some love to the main secondary characters for a change, which would be Jeri, Kazu, Kenta and Suzie. This actually is also connected to the third part of the comic I'm planning, the Rebuild of Tamers if you will, where the secondary characters will be the main characters this time and the others, Takato, Rika and Henry, will be more on the sidelines this time. But more on that later of course, not gonna spoil everyth...
