And yes I did remember to give a breakdown of all the Digimon Tamers episodes, and I will definitely still do it.
But
once in a while I will keep posting these reference /promotional
drawings to give myself some off time, as just reviewing the episode
isn't the only thing I'm doing ( what takes the most time is basically
taking references from each episode of everything, like backgrounds the
characters from all perspectives ect... )
Anyway
here we have Takato's reference sheet, and I've got to tell you that
out of all the main characters ( by that I mean the Goggleheads ) Takato
is definitely my favorite one by far.
I really love his
personality, and how sensitive he is, especially for a boy, but not in a
cowardly/ pussy kind of way ( he kind of reminds me of myself in that
regard )
He really wears his emotions on his sleeve and when
he knows he fucked up ( which he ends up doing big time ) he immediately
regrets it and tries to solve it in his Takato kind of way.
Also how cool is it that he made his own OC Donut steel Digimon, that actually came to life haha.
Love
his relationship he has with Guilmon in the show, as from start to
finish you can really see that they became each others equals and not
just a Tamer and his Digimon pet.
And
the little Jeri romantic subplot is also very adorable ( and sad since
he admitted his feelings not to the real Jeri but the D-Reaper clone,
that scene was just heartbreaking )
Also
if we ever get an actual Tamers reboot ( since I don't think that a
real sequel will ever happen, like ever unfortunately ) that they will
go with the initial plans that they had for Takato and give him Impmon
as his Digimon partner. Maybe also have the setting with them being in
highschool instead of middle/elementary school, and make Hypnos an
organization that actually scouts/hires Tamers to protect the city
against wild Digimon attacks ( one can only dream lol )
I would gladly throw my money to see that happen ^o^
