Another late upload, again ...
But
not to worry, I have already finished the reference sheet for Jeri
today as well, so I'll be posting that tomorrow while in the meantime
I'll work on other stuff.
Anyway here we have Henry's reference sheet.
First
I find it quite funny how he got Terriermon as his partner ( with him
being a calm rational pacifist and Terriermon being a loud-mouthed know
it all that wants to fight )
Also fun fact, before I watched
Tamers, or even knew that the Digimon Tamers season was a thing, I first
saw Henry in the Digimon Rumble Arena game for the PS1 ( Best Digimon
fighting game so far in my opinion ) and I remember being super confused
because Terriermon was the partner of Willis, he was from Digimon the
movie, and I was always thinking why they put this guy right here with
Terriermon instead of Willis. Those were the good old days lol.
But
yeah Henry is an alright character, and he has by far the best
Digimodify and Biomerge digivolution handmoves lol. And I remember him
being pretty funny in the dub as well, along with Terriermon.
To bad we actually didn't hear him speak Cantonese in the show, or at least use more Cantonese words ( Besides Terriermon saying momentai ) this goes for both the English and the Japanese version.
But
I do like it that they have added a slightly more diverse character
that isn't just a token kid like most if not all shows do nowadays,
since it actually makes sense even in the story/plot as his dad ( one of
the original Monster Makers ) was from Hong Kong himself who married a
Japanese woman, thus him being half Chinese/ half Japanese.
But
other than that, I'll probably have more to say about him once I get
through the Digimon Tamers Episodes, so I'll leave it here for now.
