As for the rest of you, here we have Renamon's reference sheet.

Renamon, hoo boy.

I'll admit that when I was a kid, when I first watched Tamers around the age of 12, that I absolutely didn't like her.

Watching the English dub she ( at least in the first episodes ) came of as this pretentious, better than everyone girl.

But being older now and looking back on things and re-watching the show, both the English and Japanese version ( even the German version ) made me look at her in a different perspective.

What the show was going for is that Renamon is this hardened warrior, having fought and survived the Digital world until she met Rika, because of this she was not the most emotional character and very closed off and kept mostly to herself, even if she was with Rika.

She realized that she had the strength to fight and defeat any opponent she wanted, but that there was no point to it really, at least not in the real world.

Because of that realization and her growing friendship with Rika, she became more open as the series went on, and in a sense she became more human too.

I really have a newfound respect for her, and her character development from being this beastly warrior to a caring spirit was really amazing to see.

Her character dynamic with Impmon is also one of the most fleshed out between 2 Digimon in the series to this day I think, it really added a lot to the show in my opinion, but more on that later of course.
