No new update for quite a while huh, however I had my reasons for this.

The first one concerns the picture of ZudomonX that you can see with this upload that I've made for a contest.

I'm gonna be honest, I was a bit disappointed that I didn't win, but man was the competition tough, like some of the art really seemed like official X Digimon artwork ( and no way was I gonna win against pros like that haha XD  )

But I'm definitely not disappointed that I didn't compete.

For one I had a lot of fun making the design ( which I'm proud of mind you ) and getting the correct pose was really difficult, but I had some help and practice using Blender because of it :D

Also this is the very first time I have ever drawn Zudomon ( or a variant ) mind you, but it came out well ( to be fair not 100 % on the hair/fur, that could have been done waaay better, but with a time crunch I wasn't able to practice that to much, sooo this is what came out of it haha.

Also please find below some of the comments I have added concerning the lore and the design of this ZudomonX

The Zudomon ( or mons ) that managed to become their X form are the ones that actually lost a battle against Regalecusmon, including getting their horn torn off, but did manage to escape before being killed/loaded.

When becoming their X form they gained additional offensive and defensive strength in the means of additional shell armor in the front and gaining a large fin blade that is attached by a large chain to Zudomon's original Thor Hammer. ( Both the front shell and the fin blade are also added from Archelomon data )

Their pelt has also become longer, to cover their body for better protection, and just like with Zudomon's tail tip the feet, arms, top of the ears and the end of his whiskers/ mustache became the same color red. The X design is both visible in the ears/ mustache ( a little bit similar to TokomonX ), and the chains on his front shell.

Also as a reverse inspiration from GabumonX, ZudomonX has now 2 hands with at the end of the pelt on his arms 3 large claws. This is to wield both the Thor Hammer and the chained fin blade, but to also cause massive damage were he to fight with only his fist and claws.

The second point I would like to make is, that because this specific Zudomon ( that had his horn torn off ) became his X form he ended up looking for some much needed payback. With his additional offensive and defensive power he then went looking for the same Regalecusmon that has won against him before, and in an eye for an eye, when he won, he then tore of his giant pincer and shoulder pad, the former which he attached to what was left of his broken horn on his forehead as a trophy/replacement.

And because of their electric capabilities ZudomonX can now shoot electric plasma from the giant pincer, but he can also electrify the chains, Thor Hammer and fin blade, which will make him in turn the true God of thunder both in looks and fighting style this time.

**Update**

Also an update on my project of the lifesize poseable fully articulated Impmon Figure.

It's coming along great, partly due to my recent Blender practice ( the 3D program ) I managed to change/update an already existing Impmon model by adding and removing some part out of it.

Then I exported it to Pepakura ( A japanese 3D unfolding program ) and unfolded the entire 3D model on A4 sheets of paper ( and for this lifesize model that turned out to be 47 pages, OOF )

While the body, arms, legs and tail seem to be of an accurate size, the head unfortunately seems extremely big for a real life model.

I think that in this case I'll probably keep everything the same size as it is now, but probably shrink the head down a bit so that it doesn't seem to be so ridiculously huge in comparison.

Mind you that this model is very accurate to the reference sheet that Toei has made of Impmon for Digimon Tamers, it's just that all the characters ( both Humans and Digimon ) have quite large heads in that artstyle, that wouldn't translate well to real life.

I'll probably post a few pictures once the model is fully put together ( mind you that this is only a trial and error model, as I'll be making notes for the final model I'm going to build )

And once that is done I'll start working on the " skeleton " of the figure, so the pivots and joints basically ( this will probably take a while too )

And yes, if people will be interested enough in figures like these ( lifesize or your own preferred size) you will be able to commission them from me, but more on that later of course ^-^

( I'm tempted to make Renamon too, but she is around 170 cm tall and if Impmon ( who is around 85 cm ) unfolded model is around 47 A4 pages, then Renamon will definitely be triple that, big OOF ( But a lot more people would be interested in her, so we'll see )

***Update Update***

Today is also 1st of August, and that means that Digifes happened today.

Man, a lot of Tamers related things have happened.

For one a lot of live performances of the best songs in Tamers, also Target the 02 opening, and let's not forget the live reading of Konaka's Tamers 2021 script ( and I'm fangirling all over the 2021 Tamers audio drama this time XD )

Seems like Konaka has changed a lot of the story compared to the 2018 version, and personally for the better in my opinion.

But the most important part that I got from it is that Juri/ Jeri is now officially Impmon's pseudo tamer as well, IT'S CANNON GUYS, WE DID IT ^.^

While I don't understand Japanese very much ( I mean that's what subs are for right XD ) I could get the general idea that they only had Impmon, Terriermon and Calumon with them at the moment and no other Digimon from the group.

They needed to destroy some barrier, Impmon and Jeri have a genuine heart to heart with each other ( PLEASE SOMEONE TRANSLATE THIS, I'M BEGGING YOU T-T ) and Rika threw Jeri a plug-in-S Digivolution card so she could also Digivolve Impmon with her D-ark just like Henry would Terriermon, and it worked T-T

( YES I WILL MAKE FANART OF THIS SCENE )

A million thank you's Konaka, this was the best birthday gift I could have asked for ( my birthday was already over a while ago, but it still counts damn it )

Anyway that was all for at the moment, and I'll definitely will keep you updated further.
